UM News Silver Show for October 22, 2015
This week on UM News, the UM late-night bus is helping lower D-U-I’s in Missoula. UM News reporter Dominique Giusti and photo journalist Joe Hodgson sat in on a dance class that welcomes Missoulians with disabilities to let loose. Professor Produces Sweeney Todd for Missoula Community Theatre
Professor David Cody leads an orchestra of university students and community members in the musical Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street at the Missoula Community Theatre this fall.Cody hope to make audiences laugh, cry and feel a bit of a thrill, while challenging their musical skills. First Annual STEMFest Highlights Career Opportunities for High Schoolers
High school students across Montana are getting the opportunity to connect virtually with professors and community leaders in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, also known as STEM. Photographer Andy Anderson and reporter Sojin Josephson visited the Inspired Classroom Studio in Missoula for the conference.
DUI’s Are Down Thanks To The UM Gold Line Bus
The bus offers service downtown on the weekends. UM student, Jeren Robinson, who rides the bus frequently says he enjoys the stress relief it provides. The Gold Line Bus is available to all students and runs from seven to midnight Monday through Wednesday and seven to two a.m. Thursday through Saturday. Photographer Nick Chrestenson followed the bus to get the story.

Missoula College’s Newly Adopted Hospitality Management Program
Missoula College recently adopted a new Hospitality Management program geared towards majors in the culinary arts, hotel and lodging management as well as front of the house management. Chef Instructor, Aimee Elliott says the program gives students a certificate with their degree, which focuses on the business aspect of things in their desired industry. The program just began this Fall Semester of 2015 as it is already gaining plenty of attention. Photographer Ryan Groh visits the Culinary Program for the story.

Missoula College Construction To Benefit Teachers And Students In Future
A new building under construction aims to provide relief to Missoula College students and teachers who currently work in small outdated facilities. UM News reporter Sean Robb and Photographer Joe Hodgson found out how the new campus will benefit the school.
