Also, students are using a new free app called Pocket Points, which benefits local businesses and helps students concentrate in class. This show was anchored by Sean Robb and Dominique Giusti. A U of M Forestry class is keeping the community safe from the aftermath of the fires in the Missoula area. Code School Programming and coding has become an extremely profitable and marketable skill in the last few years, and now a program at the University of Montana is aiming to teach this skill to the Missoula community through the Montana Code School. UM News reporter Joe Hodgson has the story.

The Flagship Program Celebrates 20 Years

Flagship Celebration at Big DipperThe Flagship Program celebrated twenty years of success with live music and free ice cream at Big Dipper Ice Cream in Missoula. The independent non-profit group offers free after school activities at eight area schools. The Flagship Program provides affordable childcare for families and a safe environment for continued learning. Board Member Peter Knox comments on where he hopes to see Flagship go in the next twenty years.
