Meet Hooch and Bob
The UM Police Department’s two youngest members, Hooch and Bob, celebrated their first Veterans Day in Missoula. The duo works with their owners, Officer Darren Ginn and Sergeant Rich Zitzka, to help protect students, faculty and Griz fans. Adopt-a-Veteran Program
You can assist veterans in need this holiday season through the annual Adopt-a-Veteran Program. Coordinated by the UM Office for Civic Engagement, this project gives UM groups and individuals a chance to provides gifts and necessities for veterans in the community. Michael Waller was a part of the program last year, and says generosity was the best gift he received.
Stars and Stripes on Ice Raise Money for Disabled Veterans
Stars and Stripes on Ice is raising money this Veteran’s Day for service dogs assisting vets in Montana. Photographer Carrie Miller and Reporter Sarah Yovetich bundled up at Glacier Ice Rink in Missoula to learn more.
Celebrating Native American Veterans
