UM students struggle with health insurance prices

Insurance stillStudents at the University of Montana are required to have health insurance while they’re enrolled. But about 18 percent avoid the rule because the University doesn’t require proof of insurance. There are roughly 2300 students enrolled under UM’s policy and others are with their parents insurance plans. Curry Health Center takes in students for medical treatments and appointment whether they are insured or not. Reporter Shane Gillette checks in to find more on UM’s health insurance issues.
