Berkeley Pit water may be helpful

University of Montana research professors Don and Andrea Stierle have spent the better part of twenty years researching the Berkeley Pit Superfund site in Butte, Montana.  In their research, they have discovered components that could possibly treat cancer, as well as a yeast that might hold the key to cleaning the acidic water.  UM News reporter Eric Clements spoke to Andrea Stierle about their research.
