Foreign UM Professors Endure Tough Process to Remain in Country
German citizens Sonja Grimmsmann and Martin Twer have made Missoula their home for over a decade. After attending U of M as students in the late 90’s, both went on to become professors in their respective departments. A series of visas has allowed them to live and work in the U.S. up to this point. Unfortunately, their continued residency here is far from guaranteed. Reporter Evan Rau has the story.
