This week on UM News, The Missoula Food Bank teamed up with the University for Homecoming week to hike for hunger. Recently, UM also broke a record buying local food. This show is anchored by Sarah Yovetich and Sojin Josephson, and produced by Dominique Giusti.
UM News Maroon for September 24, 2015
This week on UM News, a UM student shares her story on surviving a stroke, exchange students are welcomed into the community, and a class on campus teaches bike maintenance. This show is anchored by Sean Robb and Sojin Josephson, and produced by Dominique Giusti.
UM Bike Maintenance Class
UM is offering a bike maintenance class for anyone of the community to take. Classes are held at the outdoor student recreation center on campus. Alan Bowman teaches some of these classes and he thinks it’s a great way to keep your wallet a little more fuller. For info on future classes people can contact the UM outdoor program.
A Home Away from Home
Exchange students are thousands of miles away, but home doesn’t seem so far for students matched up with community members in the Missoula International Friendship Program. Sojin Josephson takes a look at the start of a new friendship.
