The Story Behind the Story
What does it take to put on a weekly broadcast? As part of her Senior Honors Research Project, UM News reporter Mahkia Clark filmed/photographed her fellow classmates during the production of one of their newscasts and edited together a video showing a behind the scenes look at the process, from story idea to final on-air product.

A 2013 study by YouGov in conjunction with SallieMae financial services co. found four out of five college students have a job, while parents are paying 27% of their child’s education compared to 37% in 2010.
