The increasing personification of technology like Apple’s Siri and Microsoft’s Cortana gives people an unprecedented personal connection to their devices and systems. However, the effects and implications of this advancement are unknown. According to America’s youngest group; they might be just as conscious as people. Rory Cheevers reports how one UM study looks to prove that theory.

 

Students Study Supply Chains

A new class at the University of Montana is teaching students why the pandemic is responsible for some empty shelves at local retailers.
Business Marketing 4-9-4 helps students understand the complexity of moving and managing goods. Professor Simona Stan is working with Wilson Logistics to let students work with real data. Her class is aimed at all students, not just business majors. Stan says that there is a growing industry for careers in logistics, and that around ten thousand new jobs are created annually.
