After a recent explosion at University Villages housing, UM News reporter Mahkia Clark looked into what the University Police do to keep students living in those apartments safe and what to do in the case of an off-campus emergency.

 

Rolling into Day of the Dead

1029-Day of the DeadThis Sunday marks Missoula’s 22nd annual Day of the Dead parade, part of a festival honoring life and death. The University of Montana does its part with the 14th Steamroller Print Project. Missoula was the first place in the country to combine the Day of the Dead with steamroller printing. UM News reporter Jenna Heberden learned more about the unique way Missoula celebrates this Spanish holiday.
