Active Shooter Response Training
The University of Montana is working to help keep the community safe. With school shootings on the rise, local and campus law enforcement are offering training to students, faculty, and community members on how to react to a shooting. Reporter Sojin Josephson and Photographer Joe Hodgson have the story.

Grizzly Green Market Provides Local Food Options
Since 2009, buying local and organic food has been on the Top Ten Consumer Trends list. Grizzly Green Market is trying to supply this trend by selling food and baked goods from local farmers and vendors. Photographer Carrie Miller interviewed UM Dining Coordinator Ray Merseal on why he thinks it’s not just a fad.
One Button Studio
The Mansfield Library now has a new video recording studio that requires no film or editing experience. With the push of a single button, it can be used for creative and practical purposes. The Missoula Public Library is now looking to build a One Button Studio for the community to use. To learn more about or to use the One Button Studio, you can make reservations here. Celebrating Native American Veterans
Once a year, the Salish and Kooteni Veteran Warrior Society brings the community together for Veterans Day to honor those who served. Photographer Joe Hodgson and UM News reporter Dominique Giusti made a trip to Pablo for a closer look.
Massage Therapy
The University of Montana Physical Therapy Department is holding their annual massage fundraiser to raise money for several different programs. These programs help physical therapy students to network together with professional healthcare officials across the nation as well as to study and travel abroad practicing their craft.
New Aquatic Sport Welcomed to Missoula Community
