Missoula Focuses on Carbon Emitted from Transportation

A recent report from Climate Smart Missoula, says transportation emits the largest portion of carbon for Missoula. The community is focusing on this 37% for the month of October. UM has reduced its emission of fossil fuels by purchasing two electric buses over the past two years. The University continues to work towards sustainability through addressing transportation along with reducing its energy consumption and improving its recycling program.
