This week UM News features UM students creating a group to build relationships and do activities with local Missoulians of all ages with disabilities. The show also highlights the end of Griz football season with the ROTC program unveiling a new cannon to celebrate touchdowns, a closer look at Monte’s involvement with the community and how Missoulians are hoping to win on and off the field by Canning the Cats during this year’s Brawl of the Wild. This week’s show is anchored by Aunica Koch and Wayne Stevenson, directed by Tiffany Folkes and produced by Maria Anderson.

This week on UM News, the Missoula community came to the rescue of the UM Marching Band’s members who were told they couldn’t travel to Bozeman for this year’s the Brawl of the Wild game, Circle K is shifting its fundraising focus locally instead of nationally, and The Rocky Mountain Ballet Theater kicked off its fundraiser for its annual Ballet Beyond Borders event coming in January. This show was produced by Mederios Whitworth-Babb, directed by Tiffany Folkes and anchored by Meghan Bourassa and Matthew Skillman.

Missoula is looking for their first win in 14 years during the Brawl of the Wild on Saturday, but not on the football field. Reporter Sarah Yovetich and Photographer Ryan Groh checked in to see how the Missoula Food Bank, Mountain Line and other community members were raising money and food donations to “Can the Cats.”
