Missoula Focuses on Carbon Emitted from Transportation
A recent report from Climate Smart Missoula, says transportation emits the largest portion of carbon for Missoula. The community is focusing on this 37% for the month of October. UM has reduced its emission of fossil fuels by purchasing two electric buses over the past two years. The University continues to work towards sustainability through addressing transportation along with reducing its energy consumption and improving its recycling program. DUI’s Are Down Thanks To The UM Gold Line Bus
The bus offers service downtown on the weekends. UM student, Jeren Robinson, who rides the bus frequently says he enjoys the stress relief it provides. The Gold Line Bus is available to all students and runs from seven to midnight Monday through Wednesday and seven to two a.m. Thursday through Saturday.
