UM Professors and Students Study Gigantic Sea Spiders
A group of UM professors and students are studying sea spiders in one of the most remote places in the world. Photographer Nick Christenson and UM News reporter Sean Robb phoned in to McMurdo station Antarctica.
Gerontology Society Hosts Photos with Santa
A well-known elderly celebrity donated his time, and his lap, to the Gerontology Society. The group hosted its fourth annual Photos with Santa event to raise money for the Missoula Memory and Music Project. The non-profit helps those suffering from Alzheimer’s and dementia recover lost memories through songs. The documentary Alive Inside is what motivated the Gerontology Society to choose the Missoula Memory and Music Project.

Since 2009, buying local and organic food has been on the Top Ten Consumer Trends list. Grizzly Green Market is trying to supply this trend by selling food and baked goods from local farmers and vendors. One Button Studio
The Mansfield Library now has a new video recording studio that requires no film or editing experience. With the push of a single button, it can be used for creative and practical purposes. 16th Annual Can the Cats Raises Money to End Hunger in Missoula
Missoula is looking for their first win in 14 years during the Brawl of the Wild on Saturday, but not on the football field. Reporter Sarah Yovetich and Photographer Ryan Groh checked in to see how the Missoula Food Bank, Mountain Line and other community members were raising money and food donations to “Can the Cats.”
